KACC Foundation Identity

April 2007

The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation specializes in scholarships to local high school students. This identity was originally designed as part of the Chamber logo competition, but ultimately the board of directors found it to be more fitting for the KACC Foundation than the Chamber itself. C'est la vie.

The logo depicts two stylized sails. This represents Kenosha's proximity to Lake Michigan and the sheer number of businesses located here because of the city's location on the water. Ever hear of the AMC Pacer? QED. The logo is colored in shades of green to represent the areas of Kenosha County not near the lake. West of the lake there's farms, grassy fields, and abundant forests. Plus green is totally in these days.
