Momentum

Momentum is a newsletter published quarterly by the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce. One of the first projects I was given at the Chamber was to redesign their newsletter and give it an identity. Previously, each issue was laid out much different than the last, mostly because the format they were working with wasn't very flexible. I tried to fix this problem going for a much simpler format, but still retaining the header and sidebar elements from the old version. Ultimately, my goal was to produce a modern and more legible version of the newsletter, without completely abandoning the visual style of the previous issues. I also got to use a ton of different weights of Helvetica. So that made me happy.
