The Laramie Project

March 2007

This poster was designed for my Advanced Graphic Design class under the direction of Tao Chen and Theatre Director Jamie Cheatham. This design was ultimately chosen among the class submissions and was posted around campus to promote the play.

This was a class project that we were all competing on. We were introduced to the play and what the Theatre was looking for, then we made something in Illustrator. Every week, the Theatre Director came in and give us further art direction on how to refine the posters. This poster was chosen right off the bat— no need for further refinement. It felt good to get it right on the first try!
